Thank you! this post whisked me back to a wonderful visit to Canterbury Cathedral in early June. It is certainly the most spectacular of cathedrals. I managed to get some good stained-glass photos, and I too went away with cherries, and wonderful raspberries.


Funny how the girl in the next-to-last window looks exactly like a Disney cartoon princess.


Oh Sigh. I have lost count of the number of times I have been to Canterbury AND the Cathedral. Here I am now in Western Australia and your post has made me heart sick ( but in a good way!).


love those fruit in the cloisters, I've either never seen or noticed them properly.
