Oh, that first photo - what a scene! I love it.

Have you visited Orkney's Italian Chapel? I am not sure if there are any stained glass windows, though if there are, then they are tromp l'oeil. The basic building is a Nissen hut, so corrugated iron galore. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamb_Holm


Next time you go North, call in at the library in central Accrington where there is a splendid stained glass window in the stair well. The library is a Carnegie one, dated about 1908, so rather grand and, in my view, worth a visit. I love your photos of places and things.
