Lisa G.

I expected something to do with Christmas, forgetting you don't like that time of year. Forgot that the English use the word "holiday" as we say "vacation". This looks so much like ocean waves to me - you really captured that, I think.

Completely off topic but, especially given your academic Russian background, I suspect you would enjoy the latest exhibition at GRAD (Gallery of Russian Arts and Design) on Little Portland Street: 'A Game In Hell: The Great War in Russia'. Fantastic woodcuts, handmade books, photos that you can't believe have survived. It's a one room exhibit and can be combined with some Courtaulds' nostalgia wandering around nearby Margaret Street!

I really like the pattern and colors of this quilt. Beautiful.
