Oxford: stunningly beautiful, endlessly fascinating, often surprising, packed with lovely streets, great art galleries and museums, glorious interiors, outstanding stained glass, plus big open spaces, flower-filled gardens, books, libraries, yarn and haberdashery, greengrocers and markets, cake, tea, coffee, and awe-inspiring views. Oh yes, and a University, too.
What makes this book a little different is that, unlike most guides to Oxford which concentrate exclusively on the University and the colleges, it looks at all the other good things you can see, do, eat, drink, and enjoy in the city. I wrote it because I had such a great time visiting Oxford and looking beyond the obvious, although I have included some of my favourite college for their architecture, interiors, herbaceous borders and stained glass. It is now available to buy from the Yarnstorm Press Big Cartel page.
